Numerical analysis of the flow field in a planar nozzle for different divergent angles

In the present work, flow field is analysed for Mach number, pressure and temperature in 2D computational domains a planar nozzle of symmetrical geometry as used experimental tests cold (air) flow. The study has been considered three mean angles divergent section: α = 9°, 11.01° 13°, four ratios: NPR 2.412, 3.413, 5.423 8.78. For numerical simulation turbulence presence shock waves, RANS model, Sutherland equation Spalart-Allmaras model were ANSYS-Fluent R16.2 code. results obtained show fluctuations at intersections internal shocks divergent, fluctuation decreases angle increases. 8.78, number exit same, where 2.00 was obtained, based on this reference, 13° there an increase velocity 4.15% 9° decrease 3.78%. lowest drop occurs outlet 13°.
